RAID 0 or RAID 5 can lowr the risk of data lost due to hardware failure, but cannot prevent stupid human errors.

I use a USB HDD to backup the data of my HDD manually, usually 1 or 2 times a week.

btw, that is a very nice shot.   Timing was very good!
